School governance in Colombia is a model that seeks to promote the democratic participation of the educational community in the management and direction of educational institutions.
The school government seeks, in this way, to guarantee the maximum well-being of children, through quality and relevant education. It is a process that involves students, parents, teachers, managers and administrative staff in making decisions that affect the educational development of children

Principal Represent the school to the educational authorities. Also, I manage the economics resources and promote the academic progress and school improvement.
It’s made by the principal, teacher representative, parents’ representative and students’ representative. The function is to make decisions of the school, open places for school, solve conflicts between students and teachers, give encouragement and punishment according to the Coexistence Manual.
The student council It’s made by one student of each grade of the school. The principal function is to let students to participate in taking decisions of the school. Also, to create cultural and social events for students. 1 st – 2 nd – 3 rd 4 th – 5 th – 6 th 10th – 11th 7th – 8th – 9th
Coexistence committee The function is to solve problems between students – students.
Academic council It’s made of principal, teachers of each subject. Some of our functions is to organize the topics for the scholar year; to decide who students will be promoted; to propose improvement plan; and all related with grades.
personero I’m in the last scholar grade (11°), and my function is to promote the rights and duties of the students.
