One Friday afternoon, Ace came home from
school to hear piano music from his dad's
speakers.

"Dad? I'm home!" Ace called out.

Welcome home, son!

"Welcome home, son!" Dad replied from the
kitchen.

“What's that beautiful music, Dad?" Ace asked
his father.

croco animent

“Oh, I am playing classical musical masterpieces
by Mozart and Beethoven,” Dad explained.

"Who are they, Dad?" Ace asked.

"Son, please have a seat,” Dad said, pointing to
the nearby couch. “Several hundred years ago,
people loved to play musical instruments.”

tron 22H

"Wow, how many pieces do you know, Dad?" Ace
wondered.

“Well, quite a lot!" Dad replied.

Was it hard to learn
how to play music?

“Was it hard to learn how to play music?” Ace
asked.
"Son, remember, success requires effort and

passion. You have to put in the time and be
passionate to do what you want to achieve,” Dad

said.

croco animent

The two continued to discuss the history of
music until dinnertime.

"Honey! Dinner is ready!" Mum called from the
dining room, where she was setting the table.

"Inoticed you two were busy talking in the living
room. What were you talking about?” Mum
asked.

tron td

“Oh, | was asking Dad about the history of music!
| heard this wonderful music coming from his
speaker when | came home!" Ace explained to his
mother.

"Your father likes to listen to classical music
while he does his chores or work. It helps him
relax," Mum replied.

"Can | play those too, Mum?" Ace asked.

croco tl

"Why, of course! But you have to practice!" Ace's
Mum replied.

“For how long?" Ace asked.

"That depends on how much you like playing an
instrument.” Ace's Mum replied.

“What is an instrument?" Ace asked.

"Do you remember the beautiful music your dad
plays through his speaker? Well, to make music
like that, you need an instrument.”

croco td

“And once you have an instrument like a piano,
you have to give yourself time to practice it
until you can make music,” Mum explained.

"Have you ever seen a piano?” Mum asked.

"Not yet, Mum,” Ace replied.

"You might see one tomorrow when you and your
dad go grocery shopping at the mall," Mum said.

"Well, look at the time. It is time to go to bed,
son!" Dad said as he took Ace into his bedroom
and turned off the lights.

“Good night, son. We will be going to the mall in
the morning. Sleep tight; | love you." Dad said.

"love you too, Dad! | cannot wait to see a piano
tomorrow!" Ace replied.

It was Saturday, and Ace and his dad had just
finished shopping for groceries and were walking
around the mall when they heard beautiful music
coming from a distance.

"Dad? Can we go and see what is happening?"
Ace asked.

“Sure, son! That music sounds good!” Dad
agreed.

They both walked towards the direction of the
music and saw a large crowd watching the
pianist play his next song.

"Dad? What was he using?” asked Ace.

“That is a piano, Ace. It is one of the most
beautiful instruments in the world!" Dad replied.

"Wow, that piano is so big!" Ace said excitedly.

"Can we get a piano?" Ace asked eagerly.

“All right, son, but you must wait,” Dad replied.

While Dad was cleaning the house one day, he

computer. As Ace's birthday was in two weeks,
Dad decided to buy him a digital piano online as
a surprise.

Two weeks later, it was Ace’s birthday! Ace had
invited his friends over, and suddenly he saw his
dad telling someone to bring in a big present!

"Wow! Can | open it now, Dad?" Ace asked
excitedly.

"Yes, go ahead, son!” Dad replied.

Ace opened the big present and found a digital
piano inside.

asked.

Ace replied.

“Every great thing starts with a little practice
until you get good at it," Dad reassured him.

day?" Dad asked.

"No, Dad, our teacher said it takes many
months, and you must water it daily until the
seed becomes a flower,” Ace replied.

"That is right; the same can happen with playing
the piano. To learn, you have to be passionate
