Senior Dues and Grad Information

Dues information for South Atlanta High School Seniors.

1. Oh the Places We WILL Go Class of 2017 Agenda Senior Dues Cap and Gown Senior Portraits Senior T-Shirts & Hoodie Senior Events/Activities 12 th Grade Senior Class Council Senior Trip Investiture/Senior Parent Night Graduation

2. Dues will be $300 They will include: Senior Activities ($100) Investiture/Visions/Graduation ($60) Cap and Gown Deposit ($10) Senior shirt & Hoodie ($ 3 5) Portrait Sitting Fee ($20) Yearbook ($75)

3. Payment Schedule 1 st payment $50.00 due September 2, 2016 2 nd payment $75.00 due October 14, 2016 3 rd payment $75.00 due November 11, 2016 4 th payment $100.00 due January 27, 2017 *A late fee of $50.00 will be added to senior dues if not paid in full by January 31, 2017 *Students will not be allowed to participate in seniors events/activities or receive items if payment scheduled is not followed.

4. Cap and Gown will be $66 plus tax. It will include your cap, gown, and diploma cover. Deposit of $10.00 for cap and gown will be included in senior dues. This is to prevent any late fees being added. Remaining cost of $56.00 plus tax to be paid directly to Herff Jones. Balance to be paid by the time of delivery. If you fail to pay your senior dues, cost of Cap and Gown can go up from $66.00 to $130.00+ ($15.00 shipping and handling fee added after December 31, 2016 and $10.00 each additional month.)

5. Z3 Portraits Senior Portraits will be taken during the first two week in November. (*Subject to change*) Each senior who adheres to the payment schedule for dues will receive a time slot for you to report and have your photo taken. Please note that $20.00 of your senior dues ONLY pays for the sitting fee. Individual picture packages are available for purchased from Z3. ONLY students who take their senior portraits will be pictured in yearbook and showcased during graduation.

6. T-Shirt & Hoodie Orders Only students who have paid their senior payment for September and October or are paid in full, will receive a senior t-shirt and hoodie. Payments will be accepted until October 14, 2017. Orders will be made on October 17, 2016. Seniors please ensure that if you are paid, that you communicate to Coach Jones or Mrs. Thomas your shirt size.

7. T-Shirt & Hoodie Design We need a design for our Senior T-Shirts and Hoodie. The date for submission is 09/09/2016. We will vote on the submissions during our next senior town hall meeting on 9/16/2016. The winner of the t-shirt and hoodie design will receive $25.00 off their senior dues.

9. Senior Events/Activities/Items Please note that only students that adhere to the payment plan or are paid in full will be allotted to participate in senior events/activities or receive items. Ex. If a Senior Movie Night/Game Night is planned for October 27. Student must have paid payment for September and October. Ex. Senior t-shirt and hoodie order to be placed by October 17. Student must have paid September and October payment.

10. 12 th Grade Class Council Officers include President , Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Parliamentarian 12 th Grade Class Council is student lead and student ran! All planning and organization will be conducted by your 12 th Grade Class Council Members. Senior Sponsors are in an Advisory role ONLY! If you want your voice to be heard……Don’t be part of the problem be part of the solution and be an active member! Voting…… TBA soon!

11. Senior Trip Grad Bash 2017 (Universal Studios – Orlando) APS can not provide a senior trip. A senior parent committee will have to be formed in order to plan the event. Please Coach Jones or Mrs. Thomas if you are interested in coordinating a senior parent committee.

12. Investiture & Senior Parent Night (Tent.) Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 6pm-8pm Students who are currently on track will be eligible to participate Girls are expected to wear all white and boys are expected to wear black slacks with a white collared shirt and black jacket.
