Lead-in “English has a special word order. If we move words around, the meaning can change or sound wrong.” Examples: ✅ I am eating lunch. ❌ Lunch I eating am. Ask learners: - Which sentence is correct? - Why? Answer: Subject + Verb + Object
Sentence Structure English sentence order: 👉 Subject + Verb + Object + Place + Time Examples: 🍳 I eat breakfast at home in the morning. 🎓 She studies English at college every day. ⚽ They play football in the park on Sundays. Tip: Place comes before time.
