2. Introduction INFLIBNET has always strived to modernize university libraries to improve the quality of information and scholarly communication of researchers to accelerate research. To make this great cause more successful, INFLIBNET is constantly adding new feathers one by one to its own crown, Shod-Chakra is such a new addition. This major national program of UGC started in the year 1991 Independently operating since 1996

4. Shodh -Chakra is a new initiative launched by the UGC along with INFLIBNET. This brand-new platform of INFLIBNET was virtually launched on Tuesday, 10 th May 2022 by Prof. Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman, UGC. INFLIBNET said the new platform will create a unique place for guides, scholars, and universities to create their own profiles and preferences. 6. Aims of Shodh -Chakra Continuing Exchanging and collaborating on education, research, and academic pursuits with guides and researchers. To meet the researcher needs of universities in India with a single access point. To create a single platform for bibliographic information of millions of scholarly articles. Creating an appropriate self-reliant monitoring system for research and exposure to research. Helping the academic community and advancing research by constantly using new tools. Provide an interactive advanced platform by establishing an academic link between guides and scholars. To provide basic statistics of the research work carried out by an individual guide.

University and INFLIBNET Partnership An agreement needs to be reached between the university and INFLIBNET Centre in order for Indian universities to open up the Shodh -Chakra platform for researchers to further their research and provide a better platform. This agreement will be known as a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar, and the proposed university for Shodh -Chakra.

9. Role or Responsibility of INFLIBNET in Shodh -Chakra Granted access to the Shodh -Chakra platform to its stakeholders. To amalgamate and use new technologies in this platform from time to time. Adding and subtracting some of the new resources. Conduct various training programs with different types of video tutorials and manuals for collaborators (Researchers, Guides) as required. Use each data securely and without misuse. Easy customization of this platform by mutual consent of the university.

10. R ole or R esponsibility of the University in Shodh -Chakra Register yourself on the Shodh -Chakra platform. Creating a departmental profile of the university after getting registration access. Recommend nodal officer at the same time to verify and approve each researcher and guide. Encourage all researchers and research supervisors on the university premises by informing and promoting this platform. Adhere to UGC guidelines in a timely manner and provide accurate information to INFLIBNET.

11. Conclusion It is a unique initiative of INFLIBNET to carry forward the research after the covid period. In this short span of time, Shodh -chakra has expanded the scope of its services. So far, the top nine universities in Karnataka and four in our state of West Bengal have come under this umbrella. In conclusion, the Shodh -Chakra has emerged as one of the major beneficiaries of higher education in India and will continue to do so in the future.
