Optional (Extra Credit) reading: This semester, there are a set of “Biology & Ethics in Science Fiction” assignments available for you to complete as extra credit. This involves reading the 1904 science fiction novel “The Food of the Gods and How It Came to Earth” by H.G. Wells. The full novel is available for free here: https://americanliterature.com/author/hg-wells/book/the-food-of-the-gods/summary There are also print copies available at Bookshop.org or Amazon.com and other places that sell books.
