1.Litrature as a social product. Hudson emphasize that Iitrature cannot be viewed in isolation from the society that produces it.Literature reflects and influences the social,political,and cultural contexts in which it is created.

1.Reflection of Society > Literature often mirrors the values , norms,and issues of the society from which it originates.It can provide insights into historical periods,social dynamics,and cultural practices .

1.Race Taine used the term “race” to refer to the inherited charateristics of a people,encompassing their national traits and collective psychology.he argued that these intrinsic qualities profoundly influence a nation’s Literature.

2.Milieu This refers to environmment or setting in which an author Lives and writes.It includes the social,Political,and cultural conditions that affect the author’s work Milieu shapes the themes,styles,and concerns of Literary works.

3.Moment This factor considers the historical period in which a work is produced.It emphasizes the importance of historical context in understanding Literary evolution,as Literature is often a response to contemporary events and ideas. Taine’s formula suggests that Literature evolves through a complex interplay of these three shape Literary works and their development over time.
