3. Jagnet Upon successful admittance into South Texas College , you will receive an e-mail congratulating you into the college and will provide you with your Jagnet username and A Number . Your Jagnet account is the portal that gives you access to monitor your s tudent p rogress in Degreeworks , Register for Classes and login to Blackboard to participate in your college classes. It is important to memorize both your A Number and your Jagnet Username and password. First Time Jagnet Users will need to activate their accounts at m ypassword.southtexascollege.edu Access to the Jagnet Portal can be found at jagnet.southtexascollege.edu

4. Registering for a College Course To register for a College Course you will need to login to your Jagnet account . Clicking the Registration Icon will give you access to Add or Drop Courses in your Student Apps. Registration After meeting with a HS Counselor or Advisor , you should have access to CRNs (Course Reference Numbers) that are specific to the class section you are registering for . Login to Jagnet Click on the Registration Icon Click on Register for Classes Select a Term Select the “Enter CRNs” tab Click “Add Another CRN” to add multiple courses at the same time Select “Add to Summary” after you’ve entered all CRNs Review your Summary and click SUBMIT to complete registration

For Dual Credit Students Provides real-time advice and counsel Speeds time to graduation Streamlines the graduation process Allows direct access to multiple related services and advice through hyperlinks to catalog information, class schedules, and FAQs

7. Degreeworks Core Curriculum of general education courses are the foundation of Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees .

8. Degreeworks View courses needed for field of study , major GPA , and course requirements for declared major.

9. Degreeworks View your Courses Outside of Declared Major South Texas College does not recommend registering for courses outside your selected major . Enrolling in courses outside major may cause a delay in completion. View your Courses Currently Registered
