WELCOME BACK TO School S.Y. 2024-2025

Greetings, students! I hope you all had a fantastic vacation and are energized and eager to tackle the upcoming school year.

AGENDA RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE SCHOOL

In order that the students of the Isabel National Comprehensive School will be aware of the norms of Conduct and the Standards of Behavior expected of them as members of the student body and as good citizens. The following Code of Discipline is hereby formulated to promote the general welfare of the school populace and to pave the way for smooth official and interpersonal relationships.

The provisions of this code shall apply to all students enrolled in Isabel National Comprehensive School System ARTICLE 1 SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS

ARTICLE III THE STUDENT AND THE SCHOOL

Every student is under moral obligation to uphold the good name of the school by practicing personal discipline-including such traits as honesty, patience, fortitude, emotional stability, self-control and positive attitudes and values.

Every student should abide by the rules and regulations of the school.

Every student is expected to help the school campus and buildings clean.

LITTERING IN THE CLASSROOM, LAWNS, ROADS AND OTHER PLACES IN THE CAMPUS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

CLIMBING AND HURTING TREES, PICKING FLOWERS, FRUITS, CATCHING OR SHOOTING BIRDS AND THEIR NESTS, BUTTERFLIES, INSECTS AND ANY OTHER ORGANISMS INSIDE THE SCHOOL PREMISES ARE CONSIDERED GREAT CRIMES. IT IS PUNISHABLE BY THE AUTHORITY.

ALL STUDENTS SHOULD BE GIVEN AN OPPURTUNITY TO EXPRESS ALL THEIR RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES TO PROTECTION, PARTICIPATION, SURVIVAL AND DEVELOPMENT INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE SCHOOL CAMPUS ALL THE TIME.

Attend the flag ceremony punctually and regularly.

Wear your complete school uniform and school ID everyday.

Wearing of earrings for boys and coloring of hair for both male and female are not allowed.

STUDENTS MUST REMOVE THEIR HATS OR HEAD WEARS WHEN THEY ARE ENTERING INSIDE THE CLASSROOM OR OFFICE.

ARTICLE IV THE STUDENT AND THE STAFF MEMBER

ALL STUDENTS MUST EXECUTE AND OBSERVE THE “MAGALANG BOW” TO ALL THE TEACHERS, STAFF AND GUESTS IN THE SCHOOL ALL THE TIME.

FORGERY AND ASSAULTING ANY MEMBER OF THE INCS FACULTY OR STAFF OR ANY OTHER PERSON IS PUNISHABLE BY EXPULSION FROM THE SCHOOL.

Every student is expected to give due respect to all faculty and staff of the school.

ARTICLE V THE STUDENT AND HIS SCHOOLMATES

EVERY PERSON SHOULD HAVE TO SHOW RESPECT TO THE INDIVIDUAL WHEN IT COMES TO SEX, GENDER, ETHNICITY, AND RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION. HENCE, THIS IS A GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT-SENSITIVE-SCHOOL.

Every students is expected to demonstrate friendliness, camaraderie, and respect towards his fellow students.

Seniors and Juniors should act as models in conduct and deportment to “lower classmen” who in turn are expected to give due respect and courtesy to their elders.

Students should settle differences and misunderstanding among themselves by peaceful means.

ARTICLE VI THE STUDENT, HIS SCHOOLMATES and CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Every student is enjoined to practice efficient utilization of time and facilities of the school.

Punctuality and regularly should be observed by every student in reporting to classes, work activities and school functions.

STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGE TO JOIN (1) CLUB/ ORGANIZATION ONLY WHICH ARE PROMULGATED BY THE SCHOOL IN ORDER TO MAXIMIZE THEIR POTENTIALS AND EFFICIENCY.

VANDALISM AND SHOUTING INSIDE THE CAMPUS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

CHEATING DURING EXAMS AND QUIZZES IS STRICLY PROHIBITED. ROBBERY OF ANY KIND IS A GREAT CRIME PUNISHABLE BY LAW.

ILLEGAL USE OF CELLULAR PHONES IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

FLAGRANT INDECENCY SUCH AS HOLDING, TOUCHING OR CUDDLING ANY DELICATE BODY PARTS OF A PERSON OR SUGGESTIVE VULGAR INCEDENT ACTION IN PUBLIC IS PUNISHABLE BY SUSPENSION.

ARTICLE VIII THE STUDENT AND HIS DOMESTIC AFFAIRS

EVERY PERSON IS A DIRECT RESPONSIBLE TO HIS/HER OWN GARBAGE OR WASTE MATERIAL TO PROPERLY DISPOSE INTO ITS DESIGNATED RECEPTACLES.

EVERY INDIVIDUAL IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY OF THEIR OWN BELONGINGS AND VALUABLES. THE SCHOOL IS NOT LIABLE TO ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS ON ANY PERSONAL PROPERTY.

STEALING, SMOKING, DRINKING LIQUOR AND FIGHTING ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

POSSESSING AND DISTRIBUTING DANGEROUS NARCOTICS AND DRUGS, POSSESSING OF BLADED WEAPONS AND FIREARMS, ORGANIZING OR INITIATING FRATERNITIES /SORORITIES OR CLUBS THAT ARE NOT ACKNOWLEDGE BY THE SCHOOL IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND PUNISHABLE BY LAW.

Any student or group of students planning to hold party, or any social or educational activity must obtain written permission from the Principal’s Office.

DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS OFFENSES AND THEIR PENALTIES

SECTION I - OFFENSES PUNISHABLE BY: MINIMUM : Suspension of not less than 1 week, not more than 1 month MAXIMUM : Exclusion or Expulsion with Principal’s Approval

A. Assaulting any member of the faculty or staff or any other person. B. Hazing as defined by ra 8049 (Anti-Hazing Law) and guidelines on establishments of students organization. C. Participating in illegal institutional and national strikes, rallies, and demonstrations.

D. Sexual harassment as defined by RA 7877 E. Gross Immorality: 1. Adultery/Fornication 2. Concubinage 3. Prostitution 4. Living together with someone 5. Flagrant indencency

F. Threatening G. Arson H. Connibing with bad elements in sabotage I. Forgery J. Stealing test questions and other confidential documents

K. Possessing, using, distributing or peddling narcotics and other dangerous drugs. L. Taking an examination in place of another student.

M. Publishing or circularizing derogatory statements against the school, its faculty, staff or fellow students.

N. Possessing lecture notes with intent to use it for cheating during examination. O. Carrying within the School premises any firearm and bladed weapons.

SECTION II - OFFENSES PUNISHABLE BY: First offense : Suspension of 1 day with hard work. Second offense : Suspension of 3 days with hard work. Third offense : Exclusion

Drunkenness Cheating 1. during examination 2. wearing another person’s ID 3. lending his/her school ID 4. using or wearing tampered school ID 5. using another student’s exam permit C. Attempted arson D. Forgery of signature

E. Stealing in any form (money, property, equipment, etc.) F. Gambling within the school or any place in the campus.

SECTION III - OFFENSES PUNISHABLE BY: First offense : Suspension of 3 days with hard work. Second offense : Suspension of 1 week with hard work. Third offense : Exclusion

Attending classes with the smell of liquor. Drinking in the classrooms or within the campus. Fighting resulting to physical violence. Disturbance in school affairs Vandalism Smoking within the school premises
