•Seminarsare designed forstudentsto talk
about topics in the course reading or lectures
in detail, sostudentshave to take an active
part.

STUDENT SEMINAR
•It’s a best technique of involving students
•When the topics are easy the teacher can ask the
students to prepare and present it to the class.
•After presentation the students can ask questions and
raise doubts
•The paper reader will answer those questions
•The size of the class will be small containing a maximum
of 20-25 students

CHOOSE A GOOD TOPIC -choose a topic which will sustain your
interest and gives enthusiasm
KEEP AUDIENCE IN MIND–a talk should communicate an interesting
idea to the students
TELL A STORY–begin with a solid motivation of your problem and
plenty of illuminating examples
KEEEP TIMING IN MIND- keep time that you can motivate and
explicate comfortably in this window of time
