Introduction Institution background (TARI) The Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute (TARI) was established by the Parliamentary Act No. 10 of 2016 to strengthen the agricultural research system in Tanzania. TARI-Makutupora is among the seventeen (17) centers. Makutupora center conducts research on various crops, including grapes, and provides technical assistance to farmers. 9/3/2024 3
