Polish Emblem
•Polish Eagle (Polish
Emblem) was officially
recognized in 1918.
During the communist era
eagle was deprived of his
crown. In 1990, the eagle
with a crown once again
became the official
symbol of the Polish
Republic.

•Polish flag is set up
with two equal,
horizontal stripes:
white and red. It was
officially recognized
as a national symbol
in 1919 - the year
after Poland's
independence.

•Originally, as the Song of the Polish
Legions in Italy, was written by Joseph
Wybicki. Author of melody is unknown.
We know, it was based on the motifs of
folk mazurek. The Song was held on
16-19 July 1797 in the Italian town
Reggio Emilia in the Cisalpine Republic.
The first time was made public July 20,
1797 year.
