At the beginning of Tawaf, (after formulating
intention), to kiss or signal to the Hajr-al-Aswad
(Black stone) and proclaim audibly:

Bis-millaahi Allaahu akbar walil-laa-hil-
Hamd.

and to Him belongs all the Praises.

Walaa -Haw-la -wa-laa, quw-wata - il-laa-bil-laa
hil- ‘ aliy - yil-’ azeem.
•
Glory be to Allah and all praises be to Allah and
there is none to be worship as god except Allah,
and Allah is the Greatest.
•
There is no power nor strength except with Allah ,
the Exalted and the Most Esteem.

Was-swolaa-tu – was-salaa-mu ,- ‘ alaa -Rosuu-lil-laahi,
swol-laAllahu ‘ alay-hi wa-sal-laam.
–
Allaa-hum-maa, -ii-maa-nan-bika, wa-tasw -dee-qan bi-
ka-li-maa -tika, wa-wafaa- an -bi-’ ah-dika, wa-it- tibaa-
’ an,- li-sun-nati Nabiy-yi-ka wa-Habee-bika Muham-mad
un, swol-laAllahu ‘ alay-hi wa-sal-lam.
–
And Salutation and Peace of Allah be upon the Messenger
of Allah.
–
O Allah! (I begin this Tawaf) having Faith in You,
affirming the truth of Your words, fulfilling the promise
made to You, following the Sunnah of Your Messenger and
Your beloved Muhammad, O Allah shower Your salutation
and Peace upon him.

Allaa-hum-maa – in-nee, as-aa- lukal - ’ afwa-wal- ’ aa -
fiyah,
wal- mu -’ aa -faa-tad -daa- imah,
fid-dun-yaa-wal- aa- khirah,
wal-faw- za bil- jan-naah,
wa-na -jaa -ta minan- naar.
O Allah! I beseech You for the forgiveness (of my
sins) and for my well-being (from every evil and
harm), and for eternal safety (from every
calamity), in this world and the Hereafter, and for
the reward with (Your) Paradise, and the safety
from the Hell-fire.

Rob-banaa aa-tina fid-dun-yaa Hasanatan wa-fil-
aakhirati Hasanatan wa-qinaa ‘ azaa-ban-naar. Wa-
ad-khil-naa jan-nataa ma-’ al -ab-rar yaa- azeezu ya
ghaf-faar, ya rob-bal-’ aa-lameen.
•
O Our Lord! Give us Goodness in this world, give
us Goodness in the Hereafter, and save us from the
torments of Hell-fire. And make us to enter
Paradise together with the Righteous ones. O Most
Powerful, O Most Forgiving O Lord of the Worlds.

Allaa-hum-ma inna, haa-dzal-bayta-baytuk, wal-
Harama Haramuk, wal -am-na -am-nuk , wal-’ abdu
‘ abduk, wa- ana- ‘ abduka wab-nu (wab-natu)
‘ abdik, wa-haa-dzaa ma-qaa-mul -‘ aa-idzi -bika
minan-naar. Fa-Har-rim luHuu-manaa, wa bashar-
tanaa, ‘ alan-naar.
O Allah! Verily this House is Your House, and this Haram
(Sanctuary) is Your Haram, and the Peace and tranquility
which prevails here is from Your Bounties. And every servant
is Your servant and I am also Your servant, a son (or
daughter) of Your servant, and this is the place of those who
seek Your refuge from the Hell-fire. So, (You) make our flesh
and our being HARAM (forbidden) to the Hell-fire.

Allaa-humma, Habib-ilay-nal-ii-maan, wa-
zay-yin-hu, fii - quluu-binaa, wa-kar-rih-
ilay-naal- kufra,-wal-fu-suuqa,- wal-’isw-
yaan, waj-’al-naa -minar-raa-shidiin.
O Allah! Make faith our passion, and make it
as ornaments in our hearts, and make us
hateful of Kufr (unbelief) and of corruption
(sinful deeds) and rebelliousness, and
include us amongst those who are Rightly-
guided.

Allaa-hummar-zuq-nii - jan-nata bi-ghayri -
Hisaab.

O Allah! On the Day when You resurrect us
all, spare me from Your punishment.
O Allah! Reward me with the Paradise without
interrogation.

Allaa-humma innii, a-’ uudzu-bika minash-shak-ki
wash-shirki -wash-shi-qaaq, wa-suu-il-akh-laaq,
wa-suu- il-man zar, wal-mun-qalab, fil-maa-li, wal
-ah-li, wal-walad.
O Allah! I seek refuge in YOU from doubt, from
associating partners (to You), from differences (in
relations), dissensions, immorality, adverse state
and a bad end (in life). (I pray for Your) Blessings
for my property and family and my children.

of the grave and of trials (of misfortune) in
life and in Death.

Allaa-hum-maj-’ al-hu, Haj-jan mab-ruu-ra, wa – sa’ -
yan mash-kuu-ra, wa-dzam-ban- magh- fuu-ra, wa-
‘ amalan swo-lihan maq-buu-la, wa- ti-jaa-ra-tan
lan-ta-bur.
Ya- ’ aa-lima- maa-fis-swuduur, akh-rij-nii -yaa-
Allaah, minaz-zulumaa-ti -ilan- Nuur.
O Allah! Render this pilgrimage of mine acceptable and
successful, the efforts for which You are grateful, (a means of
gaining Your) forgiveness for my sins, and the deeds of
righteousness acceptable (to You), and honest dealings and
business which suffer no loss.
O Knower of the state of every hearts! Drag me O Allah! out of
darkness (of sins and ignorance) into Light (knowledge and of
good deeds).

Allaa-humma- innii, as-aluka, muu-jibaa-ti raH-matik,
wa-’ azaa-ima-magh-fira-tik, was-salaa-mata-min-
kul-li - ith-min, wal-ghanii-mata min-kulli-birrin,
wal-faw-za-bil-jan-nah,wan-na-jaa-ta minan-naar.
O Allah! I ask of You for all that which causes Your
Mercy to be granted to me, all which deserve
forgiveness of my sins, safety from committing
sins, bestowals of every goodness, the success of
gaining Paradise and protection from the Hell-fire.

Rob-bi qan-ni’- nii -bimaa- razaq-tanii, wa-
baa-rik-lii - fii-maa- a’- twoy-tanii, wakh-luf
-‘alaa-kul-li -ghaa-ibatin-lii- minka bi-
khayr.

O my Lord (Sustainer)! Grant me contentment with
the provision from You, bless me with BARAKAH
(auspiciousness) in all that which you have
conferred on me. Replace for me whatever that has
been is lost with Goodness.

Allaa-humma, azil-lanii, taH-ta zil-li-’ arshik, yau-ma laa-zil-la-
il-la zil-la -‘ arshik, wa-laa baa-qii - il-laa waj-hak, wa-qinii
min hau-dwi-nabiy-yika, Say-yi-dinaa Muham-madin swol-
laAllahu ‘ alay-hi wa-sal-lam, shar-batan, ha-ni-atan, ma-ri -
atan, laa - naz-maa -u –
ba’ -dahaa - abadaa.
O Allah! Shelter me beneath the shade of Your ‘ Arsh, on the day
when there will be no shelter except your ’ Arsh, and there is
no countenance except You alone. Provide me a pleasant and
delicious drink from the Hawd (al-Kauthar) of Your Prophet,
our Leader Muhammad s.a.w., so that thereafter I will feel no
more thirst ,forever.

Allaa-humma, innii – as-aluka min khay-ri maa- sa- a-laka min-
hu, Nabiy-yika, Say-yidinaa Muham-madun, swol-laAllahu
‘ alay-hi wa-sal-lam. Wa - a- ’ uudzu-bika min-shar-ri mas-ta-
’ aadza-bika minhu, Nabiy-yika, Say-yidinaa Muham-madun
swol-laAllahu ‘ alay-hi wa-sal-lam.
O Allah! I ask from You all goodness (Blessings) which Your
Prophet our Leader Muhammad s.a.w. have ever asked (from
You). And I seek Your protection against all evil (and harm)
which Your Prophet our Leader Muhammad s.a.w. have ever
sought from You to be protected from.

Allaa-humma, innii – as- alukal -jan-nata, wa- na-’ ee- muhaa,
wa-maa- yuqar- ribunii- ilay-haa, min-qaw-lin, au-’ amalin,
au-fi’ -lin. Wa-a -’ uu-dzubika minan-naari, wa-maa-yuqar-
ribunii – ilay-ha, min-qaw-lin au-’ amal.
O Allah! I ask from You the Paradise and all its blissful
content, and (that You grant me ability) to draw near to it
with my every words and actions. And I ask from You
protection from the Hell-fire, and (that You grant me ability
to be protected) from drawing near to it with my every words
and actions.

maa bay-nii-wa-bay-na khol-qik. Allaa-humma, maa-kaa-na
laka min-haa, fagh-fir-hu-lii, wa-maa kaa-na li-khol-qik, fa-
ta-Ham-mal-hu ‘ an-nii.
O Allah! There are many rights of Yours which is upon me and
there are many rights which subsist between me towards
Your creations, forgive me for all trespasses against You and
for the trespasses and shortcomings in my relationship
towards Your creations, (O Allah! )You be my Guarantor (for
these, with Your blessings).

wa - agh -ni-nii, bi-Halaa-lika ‘ an-Ha-raa-mik, wa-bi- twa -’ a-
tika- ‘ an - ma’ -swi-yatik, wa-bi -fadw-lika- ‘ an-man si-waak.
Yaa- waa -si- ’ al- Magh-firah.

(O Allah! ) and Provide for me lawful subsistence as against the
unlawful, instill in myself faithful obedience (to You) and
provide me with Your Favours and render me independent of
the favours of others except those which is from You, O Allah!
O (You) Whose forgiveness is all-encompassing!

Alla-humma, inna bay-taka -‘ azeem, wa-waj-haka-
Kareem, wa-anta, Yaa-Allaah, Ha-lee-mun – Ka-
reemun – ‘ azeem, tu-Hib-bul -‘ afwa- fa’ -fu- ‘ an-ni.
O Allah! Verily (this) Your House is indeed great, and
Your Countenance the Most Noble, and You , O
Allah! Is Most Kind, Most Noble and Most Exalted!
You like to forgive, so be kind and forgive me (all
my sins and errors) .

wa- ya-qii-nan swo- diqa, wa-riz-qon waa- si- ’ aa ,
wa- qol-ban khaa-shi- ’ a, wa- li- saa - nan – dzaa-
kira.
O Allah! I ask from You for perfect Faith (Iman), for
a conviction that is True, provisions that is wide
and plenty, and for a heart that is humble (with
reverential fear of You), and a tongue that utters
much remembrance (of You).

wa -riz-qon-Halaa -lan twoy-yiba, wa-tau -batan – na-
swuu-Ha, wa-tau-batan-qob-lal-mawt, wa-Ro-
Hatan- ‘ indal-mawt, wal-magh-firotan - wa-
Rohatan ba’ -dal mawt, wal-’ afwu-’ indal-Hisaab,
wal-fawza- bil-jan-nah, wa-na-jaa-ta minan-naar.
And (I ask You O Allah!) Sustenance that is lawful and good, and
repentance that is true and sincere, repentance before death,
and ease at time of death (with Your blessings), ease (with
Your blessings) and forgiveness after death, Your forgiveness
at the time of interrogation, for the success with being given
Paradise, and the protection from the Hell-fire.

Bi- raH-ma-tika Yaa- ‘ Azee-zu-Yaa-Ghaf-faar.
Rob-bii - zid-nii- ‘ il-maan, wa-al-Hiq-nii- bis-swaa-li-
Heen.
(All these I ask of You O Allah!) with Your Mercy and
Compassion, O the Most Exalted in Might! O the
Most Forgiving!
O my Lord (Sustainer)! Increase my knowledge and
include me amongst the People of Righteousness.
