Important Guidelines for Students 2

Students are required to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in all subjects covered in all S emester . Under no circumstances, a student shall be allowed to appear in the internal examination if he/she has less than 75% of attendance in all the subjects/papers. Students are required to attend the Seminars/ Workshops/ Guest Lectures which are mandatory for them. Regular PTMs’ are conducted periodically, apprising parents/Guardians about their Ward’s academic as well as Behavioral performance . It is mandatory that the students shall wear the Corporate Dress, as prescribed by the College on every Wednesday & at the time of participating in any activity conducted by the College like Webinar /Seminar/Workshop/Various Competitions/ Guest Lecture/Project or Practical Viva/Internship Drives/Placement Drives etc. 3 CLASS ATTENDANCE & CORPORATE DRESS

4 A student will be promoted to the next academic year only if such student obtains at least 50% (rounding to full digits) of the total credits of the existing academic year for promotion to next academic year. Distribution of weightage for various components of evaluation shall be as below: The passing marks, as the percentage of total marks (sum of teachers ’ continuous evaluation and end term examination ) shall not be less than 40 percent. Theory Courses i ) Internal examination - 25% ii) Annual term end examination - 75% Practical / Laboratory / Project (STP/Minor/Major) i) Internal examination - 40 % or 50% ii ) Annual term end examination - 60 % or 50% EXAM POLICY & PASSING CRITERIA
