3. INTRODUCTION
Teachingcompetencereferstotheknowledge,skills,andbehaviourthatteachers
needtocarryouttheirprofessionalresponsibilities.Itcanalsobedefinedasthe
abilitytoconveyknowledge,skillsandapplicationstostudentsintherightway.
Toenhancestudentslearning,teachersmusthaveexpertiseinawiderangeof
teachingcompetenciessothattheyareabletodealwitheverystudenthaving
differentlearningstyles.Astrongintroductioncanengagelearners,provide
contextandoutlinewhatlearnersaregoingtolearn.
Teachercompetencereferstothesetofknowledge,abilitiesandbeliefs,ateacher
possessestobringateachingsituation.Competencealsoreferstoconceptand
skillswhichareflexibleandapplicabletowidevarietyofsituations.

2.Classroom management :
•Treat mistake as apart of learning
•Along with clear routines, behaviours and expectation
•Observe and interact with students regularly
•Make sure students display empathy and support for others
3.Coaching and assessment :
•Make sure feedback and assessment are provided on time
•Report progress and achievement in a timely manner
•Based on individuals status students needs, differentiate assignments to engage more
in the project
