Teacher competencies are an outcome based method for assessing teacher
performance. They define key characteristics for successful teachers without
prescribing any specific curriculum or instructional practices .They are –

COMPETENCY IN PLANNING:
While planning and preparing for teaching the teacher should posses certain
competency as follows-

COMPETENCY OF INTERACTION IN CLASSROOM:
Teacher while interacting with student they should posses following competency

•Along with clear routines, behaviours and expectation
•Observe and interact with students regularly
•Make sure students display empathy and support for others
3.Coaching and assessment :
•Make sure feedback and assessment are provided on time
•Report progress and achievement in a timely manner
•Based on individuals status students needs, differentiate assignments to engage more
in the project
