Types of Resume

Feature Parts of a Resume

Format Place the resume on A4 size bond paper. Print the resume on one side. Limit the resume to one or two pages. Use a good printer. Use plain type fonts (i.e., Times New Roman/Arial Narrow) Avoid using italics, underlining, lines, shadows, or graphics if theresume is to be scanned.-Make your name the largest item on the page.

Work it Out: Create and Show Me What You Got Group 1 & 2 - Create 4 different sample of resumes. Resumes will be written in a clean sheet of bond paper. They will pick a choice of an specific job hiring and create and compose a resume highlighting the collective accomplishments of the group. The group will choose 4 representatives to be the applicant of a certain Job Fair which will be conducted by groups 3&4. 

Work it Out: Create and Show Me What You Got Group 3 & 4 - Create a 3-minute roleplay that simulates a Job Fair interview using a resume. Simulate a situation that will utilize the rest of the group members as part of the screening team of applicants which will be played by groups 1 & 2. The job fair interview will be highlighting the components of a resume. 

You will be given 10 minutes to complete task.

An ideal resume is about 2 pages. 10.A resume should read like a job description.

Assignment: Write your own resume indicating your personal information and highlighting your academic achievements and background. Write in an A4 size bond paper. Handwritten or encoded are both considered.
