3. What is television An electronic system of transmitting transient images of fixed or moving objects together with sound over a wire or through space by apparatus that converts light and sound into electrical waves and reconverts them into visible light rays and audible sound.

4. Advantages of television We can  watch news channels  to know the present affairs of the around the world. Our children can learn moral lessons in a fun way by watching special episodes meant for children.  We can learn to make our  favorite dishes  by watching cooking episodes.  We become  aware of the present socio-economic condition  of our country and of our world.

5. Advantages of television   We can  follow the latest trend  by watching the fashion and modelling shows. We can learn more than one language by watching different programs.

6. Disadvantage of television When we watch too much of TV shows,  our eyes get tired . Many Television shows are considered  indecent  for children. We often  compromise our sleeping hours  to watch our favorite TV serial. Our favorite actors are often shown consuming alcohol or smoking a cigarette. Young people often get  negatively inspired  to intake these harmful substances. Too much of watching  TV may distract us  from our true motive of life.

7. conclusion Television is a great wonder of modern science. It is one of the most important invention of science, which has absorbed millions of minds. It has both entertainment and educational utilities. There are various kinds of television sets made by different companies which the people are using. But whatever may be the set, its attraction for the people are the same. Nothing can be more wonderful than sitting at home and seeing people around the world. The usage of Television has been very popular throughout the world.
