User friendly learning for students and easy to access materials for teachers. Assessments provide instant feedback and identify any learning gaps. Strict privacy policy to ensure students results and any information are private. Great resource to begin scaffolding any student with learning difficulties. This is in my top 5 apps for ease of use and its ability to identify learning misconceptions from individual students or the classroom as a whole so I am able to reinforce assignments or standards as necessary.
Quizlet
Quizlet in the classroom Quick assessment and study responses to identify weak areas in student learning. Questions can be tailored to fit any lesson or standard being covered and assessed or a premade Quizlet can be chosen. Very user friendly for both the students and teachers alike guiding through each step seamlessly. Privacy policy is strict and adhered to but information can be made public if the user chooses. This is in my top 5 apps because of its ability to reinforce any lessons or standards that were covered and for its ability to tell the teacher and student areas that are not as strongly learned.
BookCreator
BookCreator in the classroom Great use in the classroom to strengthen collaboration skills and to provide a different form of learning and assessment for the students. BookCreator is engaging and provides learning opportunities that might otherwise not exist. Great for kinesthetic learning. Enhances critical thinking and creativity skills for each individual student. This is in my top 5 apps because students respond well to its creative factor and for the ability to bring a different style of assessment to the table .
Quill
Quill in the classroom Quill provides assessments for teachers to be able to identify what grade level each student is currently learning on. Assessments can be repeated as much as possible to ensure plan for learning is effective or needs to be modified. Students find Quill engaging for its interactive platform and its ease of use is apparent as it guides each student through the questions and lessons. Quill adheres to a strict privacy policy ensuring information is shared only with the student and the teacher. This is in my top 5 apps due to its ability to quickly identify learning gaps and ensure students are getting the help they need to bridge any misconceptions or struggles they may be having to be on grade level.
