ThereareseveralleadinginternationalcurriculaliketheCambridgesystemofeducationandtheInternationalBaccalaureatesystem
ofeducation.TheCambridgesystemofeducationcaterstotheeducationneedsofKto12studentsinacomprehensivemanner.It
consistsofCambridgeEarlyYears(age3years+),CambridgePrimaryYears(age5years+),CambridgeLowerSecondary
(age11years+),CambridgeUpperSecondary(age14years+)andCambridgeAdvanced(age16years+).
TheInternationalBaccalaureatesystemcomprisesInternationalBaccalaureatePrimaryYears,InternationalBaccalaureateMiddle
YearsandInternationalDiplomaProgrammecurricula;allofwhicharedesignedtoprovideaninternationaleducationtostudents.

Educationintoday’stimesisnotworthmuchifitdoesnotcomewithaglobalperspective.Weliveinaworldthatisevolvingata

connected.Thereisnosenseinprovidingout-of-dateeducationinisolation,whenthereissomuchtobegainedthrough
internationalcollaboration.Besides,thereareahostofbenefitsthataccruetosomeonereceivinganinternationaleducationinterms
oftheirpersonaldevelopment.Itleadstoagreaterawarenessabouttheworldthatweliveinandthediversepeoplethatinhabitit.
Theworldiscomingevencloseronaccountofmodernmeansofcommunicationallowingeveryonetolearnfromthebest,regardless
ofwheresuchpeopleorinstitutionsmightbe.Aglobalperspectiveineducationissomethingthatcanbringharmonytoaworldthat
isstillaffectedbystrifedespitealltheprogressthathasbeenmadeeconomicallyandtechnologically.Goingforwardwecanexpect
globaleducationtobecomeoneofthemajorfactorsinusheringpeaceandprosperitythroughouttheworld.Thisisevidentfromthe
hugegrowthofinternationalschoolsinMalaysia’scitiesandtowns.
