3. Awareness and Sensitivity to the environment Awareness is one of the fundamental objectives that any subject of study offers. Through environmental education we know the awareness about the environment, the issues of the environment. Also the solutions for the problems are generated. Through awareness we properly understand about various functions present in the environment.

4. 2. Knowledge and understanding of environment Environmental education helps a person gain knowledge and information about the current happenings in the environment. As a basis for making informed judgments about the environment people should develop knowledge and understanding of
