Meaning: "The Recitation" or "The Reading"-Language: Arabic-Chapters:
114 Surahs(chapters)-Verses: 6,236 Ayahs (verses)-Revelation: Revealed to
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) between 610 CE and 632 CE-
Purpose: Guidance for humanity, revelation of God's will, and a source of
wisdom and inspiration-Significance: Considered the literal word of God,
the ultimate source of authority in Islam, and a miracle in its own rightThe
