Esta estructura es la que vamos a usar para decir “HAY” o “NO HAY” o “¿HAY?” y
lo podemos resumir en el cuadro siguiente.
Puesto que se forma con el verbo “to be”, vamos a atender a sus formas para poder
usar esta estructura en pasdado, futuro,…

There is (en singular)

•Tenemos que tener en cuenta que
antes de poner “lo que hay” tenemos
que poner “a” o “an”

•There is a ball. Hay una pelota.
•There is an orange. Hay una naranja.

•También podemos usar “Some” y
“Any”.
There are (en plural)

•En plural, deberemos indicar el
número de objetos que hay.

•There are two children. Hay dos niños.
•There are four bottles. Hay cuatro
botellas.
