Objective of the study The study aims to find out which one of the nine defined career anchors is the least and dominant career anchors of high school teachers in General Santos City Division as public sector employees and how they differ in terms of demographic factors in accordance with age, gender, duration of service, educational level, tribe, civil status, and school where they are teaching. Research design This study will use quantitative methods of research utilizing systematic investigation of phenomena of interest by means of gathering quantifiable data, performing statistical, mathematical, and computational techniques in collecting information from existing and potential respondents. To know the concept of this research, one must intend to understand what the respondents really think among themselves, and what they believe they are good at and not so good at. The researcher believes that is more appropriate to use the quantitative design in understanding the Career Anchors of the High school teachers in the Division of General Santos City. Participant Selection, sampling design, and sample size The respondents of the study will be the high school teachers coming from the different high schools in the Division of General Santos City. Using a Raosoft application, it will be determined how much population will participate in the survey. A sample size of 300 is required to obtain 95% confidence interval and 5% margin of error with an estimated population of 1000. Sample Footer Text 2/7/20XX 11

Data collection tools The researcher will be using a Google form survey where high school teachers can open the link to answer the questionnaires. A link through e-mail or Facebook Messenger will be forwarded to the respective schools. The questionnaire is composed of 45 assertions that includes the nine career anchors with three-dimensional analysis: Talents, skills, and abilities analysis, using four-point Likert scale ranging from 1 to 4, where in assertions from 1 to 4, 1 indicated “never true for me” and 4, “always true for me”. Research locale This research will be conducted in whole Division of General Santos City, South Cotabato. Composed of 26 high schools in 14 school districts within 26 barangays. Sample Footer Text 13

Inclusion criteria The sampling criteria must be selected to fit the purpose of the study questions to be delivered. The criteria for selecting the three hundred (300) high school teachers are from twenty-six (26) high schools of the fourteen (14) Districts in the Division of General Santos City will be the target population. Duration of the study Sample Footer Text 17 The conduct of the survey will be in March to April 2021. Data analysis and the remaining part of the research will be done April to August of 2021. These activities will include the checking the manuscript by panel members, data audit and presentation of the results.

Technical/Functional (TF) Competency, General Management (GM) Competency, Entrepreneurial Creativity (EC) . Five items each, 4 – point Likert Scale ranging from “Always true for me to Never true for me”. The intention was to measure the talents, skills, and abilities. These are the things that we believe we are good at and not so good at. Pure Challenge (PC), Lifestyle (LS), Autonomy/Independence (AI). Five items each, 4 – point Likert Scale ranging from “Always true for me to Never true for me”. The intention was to measure what is important to us to aim our goals in life, e.g. money, status, challenge, Autonomy. Service/Dedication to one Cause (SD), Security/Stability (SS), Geographical (G). Five items each, 4 – point Likert Scale ranging from “Always true for me to Never true for me”. The intention was to measure what kind of organization that we feel comfortable with, one that matches our own values and beliefs.

Method and data gathering Sample Footer Text 19 The researcher will undergo a series of steps in collecting data through Google form. First Step. A letter will be prepared by the researcher which will be signed by the Thesis Adviser. The letter will be addressed to the School Division Superintendent, which purpose is to ask permission to conduct study in the Division of General Santos City. Second Step. The researcher will give a courtesy call to the School’s Principal to explain the objective of the study while presenting the approved letter from the Division Office signed by the Schools Division Superintendent. Third Step. After the endorsement of the Division Office and by the school principals, the researcher will give the Google Link form to each of the school email address or Facebook messenger where teacher can answer the survey questionnaire. A back end data base will be made where all the answers and results are consolidated.

Statistical instrument and analysis Sample Footer Text 20 The study will use quantitative data analysis. The gathered data will be tallied, analyzed, and will be interpreted using the following statistical approach: Frequency Count. This tool will address the Respondents' Profile in terms of Age, Gender, Civil Status, Position, School Teaching, Tribe, and Years in Service. This instrument will be used to count number of times the data value occurs. Mean . This will be used to measure the career anchor level of high school teachers average.
