Introduction Fashion refers to the kind of clothing that is in a desirable style at a particular time. At different times in history, fashionable dress has taken very different forms. In modern times nearly everyone follow fashion to some extent. A young woman would look odd if she wore the clothing that her grandmother had worn when young. In this modern age, increased level of the dress consciousness of individual has contributed to the development of innovative designs because it is the most important factor in consumer choice of clothes. As the fashion and style change fast, the consumer gives more preference to colour and design rather than quality, keeping in mind the fashion as well as the outlook of girls towards clothing, market is flooded with a variety of designs and styles of dresses including skirts. Skirts in different length options make the wearer feel comfortable and also attractive.

In this research work will studies for different women’s apparel cloths ( (Salwar Kameez, Midi, Tops & Skirts and Top & Pants) . First we will study do main aim of the study is to find out the preference for the basic garment styles worn by women. The 3D design software will used in this work to do creative new design for woven apparel. Then finally we will study the collect best three samples (Midi, Tops & Skirts and Top & Pants) in the work and find out fabric feel comfort properties. The comfort properties main play role for the human person to wearable clothes.

Gap in the work Study the preference of women’s apparel cloth among the Youth women’s of the India has not been studied yet. Study the Create 3D design library for the selected women’s apparel cloth using 3D Studio has not been studied yet. Study the Evolving 3d human figure of a woman: Midi, Tops & Skirts and Top & Pants has not been studied yet. According to previous research studies and survey work that has not been done by researchers in Top & Pants, Midi and Tops & Skirts with comparative functional finishes and fabric feel performance studies, this is a big step for woman's wear fabrics, and it will definitely help consumers, buyers, and researchers. Finally, this is totally new research work.

Objectives of the work To study the preference of women’s apparel cloth among the Youth women’s of the India. To study the Create 3D design library for the selected women’s apparel cloth using 3D Studio To study the collect best three samples ( Midi, Tops & Skirts and Top & Pants ) in the market and find out fabric feel & Water vapour permeability test comfort properties with functional finishes (Antimicrobial & Moisture management Finish)

Experimental Procedure The creation of 3D design library is systematically done in three phases. They are as follows Phase I Work: Preference Study Phase II Work: Creation of 3D Design Library Phase III Work: To study the collect best three samples ( Midi, Tops & Skirts and Top & Pants ) in the market and find out fabric feel & water vapour permeability test comfort properties with functional finishes (Antimicrobial & Moisture management Finish)

Phase 1 Work: Preference Study The main aim of the study is to find out the preference for the basic garment styles worn by women. The materials and the methods used for the preference study are as follows: Nature of Research Selection of Area Selection of Sample Selection of Sampling Techniques Selection of Basic Garment Styles Processing and Analysis of Data

S. No. Formal Wear Informal/ Casual Wear Party Wear 1. Salwar Kameez Salwar Kameez Salwar Kameez 2. Saree and Blouse Saree and Blouse Saree and Blouse 3. Pants and Tops or skirts & tops Pants and Tops or skirts & tops Maxi/ Full Gown Table 1: List of basic garment used for preference study

Phase II Work: To study the Create 3D design library for the selected women’s apparel cloth using 3D Studio Design is a hybrid and creative process, driven by a need which leads to an invention of some sort, be it practical or artistic, functional or simply attractive, devised to enhance life in some way state Rath et-al (2008). Define style as an essential characteristic of a garment with regard to the silhouette, design features, proportion, colour and fabric. Creation of 3D design library is discussed under the following heads. Selection of Garments Selection of Software Creating Garment Silhouettes for Selected Garments Evolving 3D Human Figure of a Woman Preparation of Basic 3D Garment Silhouettes Creating Variations in the Basic Garment Silhouettes

Cont. The design library is planned for creating 50 garment designs for the most preferred women’s garments. It is evident from the preference study, that the most preferred four garments were Salwar Kameez, Saree and Blouse, Pent and Tops. Hence the above mentioned garments were taken for the designing 3D design library. The all-survey results under process (time taken one week after completed)

Phase III Work: To study the collect best three samples (Midi, Tops & Skirts and Top & Pants) in the market and find out fabric feel & Water vapour permeability test comfort properties with functional finishes (Antimicrobial & Moisture management Finish)   To study the collect best three samples (Midi, Tops & Skirts and Top & Pants ) knit fabrics with interlock structures garments in the market and find out fabric feel comfort properties with functional finishes (Antimicrobial & Moisture management Finish) We will study in this chapter basically used two functional finishes (Moisture management and antimicrobial finish) then after we will check for fabric comfort properties (fabric feel test & water vapour permeability test) and Finishes performance. Finally, we have found that according to all market and industry surveys, these garments (Midi, Tops & Skirts and Top & Pants) produced with basically 100% cotton, cotton-lycra blends, polyester-cotton blends, and polyester-viscose blends of fibre. So that we have chosen these 100% cotton, cotton-lycra blend, polyester-cotton blend, and polyester-viscose blend fabric garments for this research work.

Cont. Evaluation of performance of finish Table 2: Functional Finishes Chemical characteristics pH level Ionic nature Ecofinish AB 1000 antimicrobial finish Quaternary ammonium compound 8 Cationic Evo soft HDS Moisture management finish Hydrophilic silicone softener 6-7 Non-ionic Functional finishes applied on fabrics. Fabrics characterization The SEM (Scanning electron microscope) images of samples were used to characterize the fabric samples. The surface of the coated fabrics was characterized using a SEM XL 30, Philips.

Antimicrobial Finish Influence of antimicrobial finishes : Antimicrobial properties of the samples were tested with Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacterium. It is observed from (Table 3) that all the fabrics treated with concentrations of Quatarnery ammonium compound is showed uniform improvement in antimicrobial property. This can be also revealed from the SEM images figure (11. a, b, c, d) at the coating of the fibers of the cotton with a particle size ranging 10 nm. The similar trend is also found for the polyester cotton, polyester- viscose and cotton- lycra blend. It is finally observed that the antimicrobial properties of cotton, polyester-viscose, Polyester- cotton and cotton- lycra blend fabrics got improved with the Quatarnery ammonium compound antimicrobial finish .

Water Vapor Permeability Tester (WVP) Influence of moisture management finish Influence of MMF finishes : water vapour permeability test properties of the samples were tested with three knit fabrics . It is observed from (Table 4) that all the fabrics treated with concentrations of MMF finish is showed uniform improvement in comfort property. This can be also revealed from the SEM images figure (13. a, b, c, d) at the coating of the fibers of the cotton with a particle size ranging 10 nm. The similar trend is also found for the polyester cotton, polyester- viscose and cotton- lycra blend. It is finally observed that the comfort properties ( water vapour permeability test) of cotton, polyester-viscose, Polyester- cotton and cotton- lycra blend knit fabrics got improved with the moisture management finish (MMF) .

Fabric feel tester Performance Influence of moisture management finish on fabric feel factor of knit fabrics In case of midi, tops & skirt and top & pants knit fabrics on the surface apply antimicrobial finish like cotton, polyester-cotton, polyester-viscose and cotton - lycra blend fabrics it can be observed from the tables 5 to 7. That is the fabric GSM increases from 120 to 135 grams range, the value of fabric feel factor decreases due to increment in frictional properties with the increase in GSM as shown in Tables 5 to 7. Further with the increase of finish concentration level fabric feel factor decreases. It is due to the increase in the softness and reduction in frictional behaviour of fabric after finishing. It can be seen midi, tops & skirt and top & pants knit fabrics like cotton, polyester-cotton, polyester-viscose and cotton - lycra blend fabrics also follows the similar trend but the rate of reduction is different. Further according to results that Polyester- viscose blend knit garment is softer & comfort as compared to polyester-cotton, polyester-cotton and cotton garments.
