Recomended Guidelines Always use 3 options for MC items. i . Alphabetize the ordering of options A,B, &C. ii . Randomize the location of the correct answer.

Problem 3 What constitutes a fair anf useful assessments? Fairnes = measuring learning, not test-taking. i . Avoid negative in the stem. ii . Be concise and clear. 2. Useful = moderately difficult i . Aim for a Goldilocks test.
