I am pleased to inform you , my dear fellow Franciscans, about the latest updates and opportunities from our office. This is part of Saint Francis of Assisi College’s commitment to foster community engagement and academic excellence. H ere are some initiatives:
Community Extension Programs: We have several upcoming projects aimed at enhancing the well-being of our local community. Envision that the people of the community can be uplifted from helplessness to hope, from ignorance to increased awareness, from indifference to positive involvement, and from aimlessness to commitment. These include health and wellness clinics, educational outreach programs, and environmental sustainability projects. We encourage all students, faculty and staff to volunteer and make a positive impact.
2. Linkages and Partnerships: We continue to build strong partnerships with local and international institutions and organizations to provide more opportunities for our students. These collaborations offer internships, workshops, and exchange programs that enrich the academic and professional experiences of our community.
3. Scholarship Opportunities: New scholarship programs are available for the upcoming academic year. These scholarships are designed to support students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance, leadership qualities and financial need.
4. Alumni Affairs: Engage, facilitate our alumni homecoming, and involve alumni in the life of the institution, foster a sense of community among graduates, and support the institution's goals and initiatives through alumni contributions and participation.

Mission To promote social responsibility and civic engagement among students, faculty, and staff, To implement community development programs that address the needs of marginalized and underserved populations. ENHANCING SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY Community extension services foster social responsibility by engaging students in meaningful community interactions, promoting civic involvement, and developing a sense of accountability towards societal improvement.
Community Engagement Programs : Volunteer Opportunities : Internship Programs : The Office offers diverse volunteer opportunities, fostering student engagement in community service, enhancing skills, and promoting social responsibility through various outreach programs and partnerships. The Internship Programs enhance student engagement through real-world experience, fostering community ties while developing professional skills and promoting civic responsibility among participants. Service-Learning Projects : Service-Learning Projects integrate academic learning with community service, enhancing students' personal growth while addressing community needs, fostering civic responsibility, and strengthening community partnerships.
Partnerships Established: The Office has forged partnerships with local organizations to enhance community engagement, providing students with practical experiences and resources while fostering mutual support and development. The Internship Programs enhance student engagement through real-world experience, fostering community ties while developing professional skills and promoting civic responsibility among participants.
