The Internet is the worldwide “network of networks” that links millions of computers together via copper wires, fiber-optic cables, wireless connections, and other telecommunications channels. This publicly accessible network of interconnected computer networks communicate using a set of protocols and standards, the most basic of which are TCP/IP. The internet and the world wide web are everywhere. They can provide answers to questions and hours of entertainment. The internet can allow people from all over the world to talk to each other. But what exactly are the internet and the world wide web. INTRODUCTION

A library is a collection of sources of information and similar resources, made accessible or to a defined community for reference of borrowing. WHAT IS LIBRARY ?

It provides physical or digital access to material, and may be a physical building or room, or a virtual space, or both. A library’s collection can include books, periodicals, newspapers, manuscripts, films, maps, prints, documents, microform, CDs, cassettes, videotapes, DVDs, Bluray Discs, e-books, audio books, databases, and other formats. E-mail (electronic mail) is the exchange of computer-stored messages by telecommunication, E-mail messages are usually encoded in American standard code for information interchange text. However, you can also send no text files-such as graphic images and sound files-as attachment sent in binary streams. E-mail was one of the first activities performed over the internet and is still the most popular use. A large percentage of the total traffic over the internets is email. Email can also be exchanged between online service provider users and in networks other than the internet. Both public and private. Email is one of the protocols included with the Transport control protocol/internet protocol(TCP/IP) suite of protocols. ELECTRONIC MAIL

An internet search, otherwise known as a search query, is an entry into a search engine that yields both paid and organic results. The paid results are the ads that appear at the top and the bottom of the page, and they are marked accordingly. The organic results are the unmarked results that appear in between the ads. An electronic book also known as an e-book is a book publication made available in digital form, consisting of text, images of both readable on the flat panel display of computers or other electronic devices. Although sometimes defined as an electronic version of a printed book, some e-books exist without a printed equivalent e-books can be read on dedicated e-reader devices, but also on any computer device that features a controllable viewing screen, including desktop computers, laptops, tablets and smart phones. E-commerce (electronic commerce) is the activity of electronically buying or selling of products on online services or over the internet. Electronic commerce draws on technologies such as mobile commerce, electronic funds transfer, supply chain management, Internet marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data interchange, inventory management systems, and automated data collection systems. E-commerce is in turn driven by the technological advances of the semiconductor industry and is the largest sector of the electronics industry. ELECTRONIC COMMERCE

Mobile commerce, also known as m-commerce or mcommerce, is the use of wireless handheld devices like cell phones and tablets to conduct commercial transactions online, including the purchase and sale of products, online banking, and paying bills. The use of m-commerce activity is on the rise. According to market research company statists, mobile commerce sales in the united states were an estimated $207.2 billion in 2017. MOBILE COMMERCE

Social media are interactive computer-mediated technologies that facilities the creation or sharing of information, ideas, career interests and other forms of expression via virtual communities and networks. The variety of stand alone and built in social media services currently available introduces changes or definition, however, there are some common terms. Social media are interactive web 2.0 internet based applications. Social media facilitate the development of online social networks by connecting a user profile with those of other individuals or groups. SOCIAL MEDIA

The best place to get learning. To keep yourself safe from Bad habits. For getting Oceans of knowledge. ADVANTAGES OF LIBRARIES

People near to it can only access it. Limited numbers of Books are available. It is costly to build a Library. People got addicted to it waste a Lot of Time in reading and give major part of time to it. DISADVANTAGES OF LIBRARIES

In the modern world of information explosion, internet has become a necessity for the libraries. The use of internet is now facilitating the role of libraries which should be of great concern to the profession. The use of internet tools and services by the libraries are changing the overall development of libraries. Libraries are changing the overall development of libraries. Libraries are using the internet mostly for acquisition, Cataloguing and reference functions. Libraries can increase the users of libraries by providing valuable information of library holdings through internet. Lastly, basic training should be provided to the staffs. In order to run the libraries smoothly. CONCLUSION
