USES OF TEACHING LEARNING MATERIALS IN EDUCATION.

Teaching Learning Materials are the generic term used to describe the resources teacher use to deliver the information.
It also supports students in learning process amd increase students success .

2. INTRODUCTION. TEACHING LEARNING MATERIALS is a genneric term used to describe the resources teachers use to deliver instructions. It also can support students learning and increase students success. Teaching learning materials are classified into different ways like print materials, E materials, software materials, AV aids etc

3. PRINT MATERIALS. The print media composed of newspapers, magazines, text books etc.It is an effective way to alert the public to the weatherization assistance program and its work. 1.Text Books. It is designed for classroom teaching prepared carefully by experts. It plays an important role in teaching learning activities. It should be strictly written according to the syllabus. It guides the teachers and helps in planning materials and teaching efficiency. It helps students in pre preparation, saves time, energy, to correct there mistakes, drill work ,use leisure time.

4. 2.Reference Book A reference book is a resource book which gives wide scope for particular field of information. It is a library book that may used on the premises but may not be taken out . Eg : Dictionary, Bibliographies, Catalogs, Encyclopedias ,etc. 3. Work Book It is a modification of the text book and it is coming into the classroom, written by an classroom experienced teacher with specific objectives,. It serves as supplementary teaching device and gives both remedial and enrichment programs.

5. 4. Newspapers. Information dissemination is the main function of newspaper. Activities like puzzles, sudoku,know your English, improve your vocabulary.

6. MULTIMEDIA. As the name implies it is the integration of multiple forms of media. This includes text,graphics, audio and video. E materials. It is a piece of information that includes or stored electronically which is usually found on a computer including information available on the internet.

7. 2. E book. It is exactly the same as regular book however it can be read on your PC and usually delivered via e mail therefore saving on any postage costs and e books usually come in 2 formats ; electronic format and in book publication made available in digital form consisting of text ,images etc. 3. E journals. It is a periodical publication which is published in electronic format on internet. 4. E audios and videos. Here you don’t have to come to the library to borrow books you need an mp3 and mp4 player you can stream music ,spoken words that you need internet connection.

8. Software materials There are 3 broad categories of educational learning materials, Generic tools for learning Content based resources Interactive instructional courseware. The teacher tools and classroom management software and helps learners to access a vast source of educational resource that effectively can be integrated with the curriculum objectives.

9. Classroom aids. Some educational software is designed for use in school classroom. Typically sucj software may be projected into a large white board at the front of the class. Assessment can be given through digital media unless using paper that it leads to environmental damage.

10. Advantages of teaching learning materials. It helps in effective perceptual and conceptual learning. Helps in capturing and sustaining attention of students in new learning. Helps in saving energy and time of both the teachers and students. Serve an instructional role in itself. Systematic, meaningful and purposeful learning. Motives the lear6. Meet individual needs and differences. Develops scientific temper and purposeful learning. Encourage original thinking. Live long lasting impression on the minds of the learners.

11. CONCLUSION. Teaching learning materials helps teachers to reach their full potential and meet childrens with very fastly . The students will be inspire and encourage to reach their full potential and become lifelong learners. It helps students guzzle knowledge and get equipped with the appropriate life skills. The most effective teaching method will depend on the specific learning goals, the subject matter,the students learning style and abilities and the context in which the learning takes place.
