•His Father & Grandfather were great scholar of Ayurveda
•He was disciples of Avalokita  Chief Monk of Mahayana Buddhism
•Author of Astanga sangraha & Astangahrudaya  5

3. •Jejjata & Indu used the term “Bahat” in place of Vagbhata.
•Jejjeta & Indu were disciples of Vagbhata
•“Tisata” the author of “Chikitsa kalika”. Tisata was son of
Vagbhata
•Chandrata son of Tisata wrote commentary on Chikitsa
kalika, but he did not mention the name of Vagbhta in it
