INTRODUCTION: Activity 1: Want vs. Needs Picture Collage Materials: magazine or article pictures, glue, bond paper https://www.teachingexpertise.com/classroom-ideas/human-rights-activity-for-student/

Directions: The class will be divided into pairs. The pairs can make a collage using images from magazines or articles that separate into needs and wants. The pairs will discuss among themselves the difference between wants and needs. KEY CONCEPT: Human rights ensure people have basic needs met. Everyone needs access to medicine, food and water, clothes, and shelter.
