SOURCES OF WATER There are mainly three sources of water RAINWATER SURFACE WATER GROUND WATER

RAIN WATER Rain is the main source of water. It constitutes most of the fresh water on the earth.

SURFACE WATER Surface water is the water that we see on the ground. Rain fill the water in Rivers Lakes Ponds Streams Sea Oceans

GROUND WATER During the rain some water seeps under the ground which is known as ground water. It is the water which is present under the surface of the earth. We can use the ground water from Wells Hand pumps Tube wells
