This course focuses on the following events : the two World Wars, Palestine and the creation of Israel, the creation of world international organizations like the League of Nations and the United Nations Organization to maintain world peace and the balance of sharing power. It also includes the Cold War and superpower rivalry with the emergence of Russia and United States of America as the new powers. Course Description
You also get to critically study new world alliances, threats of terrorism, displacement of peoples and the spheres of influence of emerging new powers. Through these studies, students learn to value and appreciate the role of history in increasing their knowledge and understanding of the past, its impact on the present, and the way it shapes the future.
