Admissions Notice
Application Form: Stage 1 Stage 1 is a digital form. You can access it on our school website. Please only complete this form ONCE. You must bring a copy of your child’s birth cert to the school office before the closing date to complete the application process. Please do not contact the office to check if we have received the application form. You only need to contact the office if you have not received an offer or decline of place by 27 th November 2024. Your application is only considered valid when we have Part 1 completed and a copy of the birth cert.
Application Form Stage 2 You will receive an email before 27 th November offering or declining a place in the school. If you have been offered a place and wish to accept it, you must complete Stage 2 Application Form. This is a form that you will need to download from the school website and return as a hard copy by the deadline outlined in your offer email. This is your formal acceptance of the offer of a place. If you do not complete this form and return it by the deadline, we will assume you have enrolled elsewhere and remove you from our enrolment numbers. At this stage, you must provide all educational reports relevant to your application. If you are declining the offer a place, there is a Form to download and return to the school. If you have any issues with printers, etc. please call to the office and they will provide you with a hard copy to complete.
Key documents Irish exemptions. You MUST have a certificate of exemption from the Primary school. If you do not have a copy of the certificate, please ensure you contact the Primary school as soon as possible. There is no such thing as an informal arrangement, only verified certificates are accepted. Educational Reports must accompany Stage 2 of the application form. This ensures we allocate resources effectively. Particularly important if applying for the Special Class.
Special Class If applying, it is vital you read our Admission Policy carefully. It is an autism designated special class. An Educational Report must robustly state that placement in a special class is essential. Our SENO reviews the application and makes the final decision on whether a child qualifies for a place or not.
