Imagine you are a time traveler who has accidently landed in the year 3050. How is the world of
the future different from today’s time? Discuss with a friend. Past is a good predictor of
future. If things have changed in the past, most probably they will change in the future too.
Look at the World maps below, see how the details have changed.

Google Earth can help us look at different places on this planet through
Street View. Zoom in to the area you want to look at as much as you can.
Once you shortlist a place you want to see, drag the person to the location
to use the Street View.

A title tells us what the map is about.
A key tells us about what the different symbols on map mean.
A compass rose can help us navigate from one place to another on a map.
A scale tells us what the distance we measure on the map means in real life. For example 1 inch
on a map means 1 kilometre in real life.
