IMGT®, the international ImMunoGeneTics Information System ® established in 1989 at Montpellier by the Laboratory of Molecular Immunogenetics (LIGM) of professors MariePaule and Gérard Lefranc (University of Montpellier 2 and CNRS). IMGT® specialises in the sequences, structures and genetic data of immunoglobulins or antibodies, T receptors, major histocompatibility complex, proteins of the IgSF and MhcSF superfamilies, and related proteins of the immune system.
